Your eyes inside... before you buy.
A thorough, plain-language home inspection from a licensed Ohio inspector who owns and manages property himself. You get a clear report with the important items up front — so you know what you're buying before you sign.
Every inspection follows the InterNACHI Standards of Practice and the State of Ohio inspection standards. Prices are listed below — book online, or call or text and we'll get you on the schedule.
A top-to-bottom visual inspection of the house you're buying — roof to foundation, systems and appliances — with a written report and photos delivered by email.
Radon is common in Central Ohio and you can't see or smell it. We can run a radon test with your inspection so you have the numbers before you close.
A separate wood-destroying insect (termite) report can be arranged with your inspection — often required by lenders.
On a well or just want to know what's coming out of the tap? We can collect a water sample at your inspection and send it to an outside lab.
Priced by the home's finished square footage. Over 4,000 sq ft, multi-unit, or something unusual? Call and we'll quote it before you book.

A home inspection is a visual inspection of readily accessible areas on the day of the inspection. It is not a code inspection, an appraisal, or a warranty. Items like wells, septic systems, pools, and environmental testing beyond radon are outside a standard inspection — ask and we'll point you to the right specialist.
Pick a time online, or call or text with the address and your inspection deadline. We'll confirm by phone.
Sign the pre-inspection agreement right here online, and pay the invoice we email you.
Plan on a few hours. Come toward the end and I'll walk you through what I found. You're welcome to stop by earlier and look around, too.
A written report with photos, emailed to you. Start with the General Summary — it lists the items that matter most.
The signed agreement is due before the inspection begins. Payment is due no later than the time of the inspection.
The Inspection Connection is a family business based in Galloway, just west of Columbus. I'm a licensed Ohio home inspector and I also own and manage rental property in Central Ohio — so I look at a house the way an owner does, not just the way a checklist does.
I inspect to the InterNACHI Standards of Practice and the State of Ohio standards, and I write reports in plain English: what the issue is, why it matters, and what to do about it. If something needs a specialist, I'll say so.
